From Community to Association
What started in July 2022 as a small volunteer community of IT professionals has quickly grown into a strong and inspiring network. In February 2025, ZERO2HEROs officially became a registered non-profit association in Germany (eingetragener Verein, e.V.). This step allows us to organize our activities more effectively, expand our reach, and strengthen our support for members.
Our Mission
ZERO2HEROs e.V. exists to connect people at the very beginning of their IT journey (“ZEROs”) with experienced professionals (“HEROs”). Our goal is to make the path into tech easier, faster, and more encouraging — by sharing knowledge, building trust, and creating opportunities.
What We Do
Mentoring: Personal guidance from IT experts who have already walked the path.
Job References & Support: Helping our members stand out in applications.
Experience Talks: Honest stories about career journeys, successes, and challenges.
Events & Workshops: From local meetups to online sessions — we bring people together.
